Customer Review: Great Techniques Book

This is a great book of Korn Shell examples and techniques. However, to understand it, one would first have to have read a good book on Korn Shell syntax and programming. So, this is a second-book for new Korn Shell programmers, not a first book. This is a book that will take you from new/aspiring Korn Shell programmer to a polished/professional Korn Shell programmer. The only reason it does not get five (5) stars is because of no index.

Customer Review: Poor typographic design makes it hard to read

The book is written entirely in courier font with no variation in font size, bolding or any standard typographic conventions that make a book easier to read. While the examples appear to be complete, I can tell this is going to be a VERY difficult book for me to get value out of.
